How to choose

Gear-driven (G29/G920) vs belt-driven vs direct-drive. Gear-driven is loudest and cheapest. Belt is smoother. Direct-drive is the gold standard but starts mid-range.
Three pedals vs two. Pretty much everything modern ships with three. The clutch matters for H-shifter setups; otherwise the brake-pedal feel is what counts.
Mounting. Every wheel above ships with desk clamps. If you race more than a few hours a week, get a gaming chair and a proper wheel stand — the desk clamps will flex.
Pedal upgrade path. Load-cell pedals (which sense pressure, not travel) are the single biggest upgrade you can make. The MOZA R5 bundle includes them; everyone else sells them separately.
