Justlikegames maintains strict editorial standards designed to keep our recommendations trustworthy, accurate, and genuinely useful. This document explains how we pick games, write copy, handle corrections, and avoid conflicts of interest.
How We Pick Games
Every recommendation is the product of two inputs: aggregated data from trusted public APIs (RAWG for metadata, OpenCritic for critic scores, SteamSpy for owner counts and player reviews, CheapShark for pricing) and editorial judgment from long-time gamers on our team.
Sourcing & Accuracy
We source factual information from primary publishers, official storefronts, and licensed APIs. When data conflicts, we default to the publisher's own listing. If you spot an error, please report it via our contact page — we issue corrections within 48 hours.
Conflicts of Interest
We do not accept paid placements, sponsored "best of" lists, or free review copies in exchange for coverage. Editorial team members disclose any personal stake in a game (such as having worked on it) on the relevant page.
Affiliate Links
Retailer links on Justlikegames may be affiliate links. Affiliate commissions do not influence which games we recommend or how we rank them. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
Updates & Versioning
"Best of" lists and recommendation pages are reviewed at least once per quarter. Game pages are refreshed continuously as new data flows in from our API providers.
